Although not immediately obvious just from its name, in reality Laserage gold is a remake of one of the most popular arcade games of the 1980s, as was the classic Asteroids.

The Laserage gold game system is very simple: you control a spaceship that can only move to the left and right, shooting at waves of martians that appear. You must do this at the same time as surviving and avoiding enemy fire whilst collecting weapons. As you progress through the levels, more and more ships appear with increasingly more rapid fire and movement, but don't worry because as you progress you are presented with power ups to increase your strength and improve your weapons.

The Laserage gold game has 100 levels and allows you to change your options (keys, sound effects, full-screen or window view etc.), view the high scores table (which is competitively shared online between all those who have LaserAge Gold), to exit or start a new game.
